At Tarapoto Amazonas Jungle Tours, we invite you to embark on an unforgettable journey through the lush jungle to observe these incredible primates in their natural environment. Meet the Monkeys of the Amazon The Colombian Amazon is home to several species of monkeys, each with unique behaviors, habitats, and conservation statuses. Here are some of the most remarkable ones you can encounter:

📌 Fun Fact: These small primates live in tight-knit family groups and communicate using high-pitched whistles and chirps. Their agility allows them to leap quickly between trees.

📌 Fun Fact: The world's smallest monkey, weighing only about 100 grams, is known for its ability to cling to tree trunks and feed on tree sap using its specialized teeth.

​De nombreuses personnes s'intéressent à la flore et aux fleurs sauvages et souhaitent non seulement savoir quand elles fleurissent, mais aussi où elles se trouvent. Nous consacrons donc cette page à des descriptions et de belles photos de la flore la plus intéressante.

Plantes d'Amazonie

​Cependant, lorsque vous vous rendez dans la jungle amazonienne, ne vous attendez pas à voir une floraison abondante d'une ou de quelques espèces de fleurs : la jungle est si riche en espèces qu'elle ne montre presque jamais un grand nombre de plantes ou d'arbres en fleurs en abondance. Les fleurs apparaissent de manière inattendue, un joyau à la fois. Pour mieux expliquer l'écologie de la forêt tropicale, nous avons sélectionné des photos de fleurs amazoniennes dans notre collection de photos. Les conditions chaudes et humides de la forêt tropicale offrent des conditions optimales aux plantes. Par conséquent, on trouve beaucoup plus d'espèces sous les tropiques que dans les climats tempérés. Actuellement, plus de 600 000 espèces de plantes ont été identifiées pour la forêt tropicale et les scientifiques découvrent encore chaque jour de nouvelles espèces et leur donnent des noms de plantes de la jungle.

​La faune dans la forêt amazonienne

L'Amazonie abrite plus d'espèces de plantes et d'animaux que tout autre écosystème de la planète. On y trouve peut-être 30 % des espèces présentes sur Terre. Sa biodiversité est surprenante : un seul arbuste amazonien peut abriter plus d'espèces de fourmis que toutes les îles britanniques, et un seul hectare de forêt peut abriter plus de 480 espèces d'arbres.
